Reconditioned Tools

Since I came here in the  US six years ago I noticed that hubby has so many tools. Back in the Philippines a carpenter had a hard time owning his own hammer, saw and other tools. But here everything is electric. Last week we bought a white paint to put on the door trimming and as I was walking the aisle in this huge store I couldn't believe how high all the tools now. I do remember that every time hubby wants a tool or couldn't find any he just drove to the store and buy it. I discouraged him from doing it. It's a waste of money and it's not really good. Buying in credits is not good!! Because he has many tools I told him that if he wants to reconditioned tools just go to the highlighted link and he could find anything he wants to be reconditioned. In this time where economy is bleak we have to be practical and conservative in spending our hard earned money. Gone are the days that we buy stuff in an impulse. Or buy anything that is all new for we knew now that it  reconditioned tools  is as good as new too.

I discouraged him from doing it. It's a waste of money and it's not really good.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
