When I was in the Philippines I have known people who are disabled. What is wrong is that they don’t have any access to go around or move around inside and outside of the house. So they are in bound in the house 24/7! So what you expect to these people to react about life when they only see the four corners of the house and nothing else. This makes me feel sad because even if they are disabled they are still talented and they are good in some of the skills.

And how could you think and enjoy life if we are in the house most of the time? 

     That is when my step-daughter knew about  NMEDA  somebody who  told him about the website  and when she looked at it she doesn't have doubts but to look more deeper and knew that their is help out there. She found out that  it's a non profit trade association. What is there intention is to provide education  to people who need help most specially in choosing an equipment for the immobile person. I in fact learned that they are all over the country because I also looked at there websit. You'll go to their website and write your zip code and an information will come out, a  NMEDA  qualified dealer. Don't be fool with all those advertisement that we see around. To find the right equipment for our beloved ones and to get the right people to assist us is worth the search. My step-daughter is special to us  that is why she need to go out and enjoy life, immobility will be just in the past.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
