Couple's Corner: Shopping Galore

Wow! The days go by so quickly it's couple's corner again. This weeks theme is all about shopping galore. Hmmm this is a nice topic since I guess women (but not all) loves to shopped. Thankfully I can't say I am a shopaholic, but I also can't say that I don't buy things that I like. Thankfully hubby, didn't mind at all if I go shopping but I guess he is also thankful that I am very frugal when I shopped ^_^  I have to think gazillion times if I will buy the "thing" or not. But if I also like something and  it won't leave my mind for 2 or 3 days then that is the time when I go back to the store and buy it. I also don't have preference of what to buy either it is branded or not. And I am not a branded shopper too, because for me whatever you wear if you don't know how to bring yourself wala din. 
Anyhow, when I was working for 9 years, iba and drama ko, whatever is the color of our office uniform yan din and color nang sapatos,bag at payong ko. One time we had  this uniform and the color is purple, so buy ako nang sapatos na purple, payong at bag..oh di nag mukha akong halayang ube hahahaha!! Meron din kaming uniform na parang off white or dirty white aba nagmukha naman akong leche flan doon haha.
That was in the late 80's and middle of 90's...when another chapter of my life begun I've changed a lot.  I found out that material things didn't make you happy it's your relationship with God and the people around you makes a person happy. Sometimes the emptiness inside us, we fill it with material things but kung tutuusin kahit isang truck pa yan nang mga  material things nobody could say you are happy nor you say I am going to stop buying  because you are fulfilled and I am happy, but  nobody ever say that. So I became wise then...salamat naman at nadala ko until now. Though, (as I've said above) I do shopped but....... wisely.
Now, though we don't have kids...but we supported my nieces and nephew back in Pinas. And they are our priority more than anything else. When  I go to the mall or thrifty store I am like a real mother who thinks of her children. For me, they have to have more than me. For me, I am happy if they are happy and for me I am blessed,  contented and happy with my life without TOO MUCH  material things around.

Nakaka touch naman itong post mo Kim. Natuto ka na nga nang mga mas importanteng bagay sa buhay. Natawa ako sa sinabi mong nagmukhang halayang ube at leche flan ka sa mga terno mong mga gayak nuon, lol. Napaka blessed din ng mga pamangkin mo na inaari mo nang tunay mong mga anak. Barn Charm

Hubby and I were driving around and this particular barn has a very beautiful story to tell. My hubby told me that his paternal grandmother and grandfather meet here often when they are trashing grain (wheat or oats). I think the love blooms here while both are helping their parents in the fields. I love stories like this because how many people meet in a place were both are working hard. Frankly speaking many young or old now meet each other and claim they fall in love at the bar or  disco house or party what ever kind of parties it is. Comparing the two scenarios I like meeting my man while he is working hard I am working hard than meeting a man under the influence of who know what hehe. Fall is my Fave

Well here comes Fall which is my favorite season of all time. I like the rain and the crisp breeze of air. The smell of caramel apples and the pressing of apples to make an apple cider. And what makes me happy is the Fall color. It is so awesome and beautiful!! I just loved it!
