I am a very proud Aunt this week. I enrolled my nephew to a swimming class for Red Cross. My nephew and nieces already knew how to swim so when I enrolled them this week the instructor just had to tell them to change the way they position their heads and from there they are doing great. Last Friday, the one week swimming class ended and the instructor told my nephew and nieces that they are good and he is looking forward to see them in advance class.

So my nephew graduated from elementary years. Next school year will begin this coming June 2013 and he is going to be first year high school. Here are some photos.

Here are my nieces and nephew. This photo were taken last year. They know I am coming to visit them next month and they are excited and so do I!

This morning when I checked my facebook my brother posted photos were my nieces and nephew and some neighbor were praying the novena. I am so proud of them I'd tell you that. I could not ask for anything but for my nieces and nephew to know how to pray and that they know there is God. I remember when they were just two years old we already teach them how to pray. The simple prayer like sign of the cross, angel of God prayer, and we bring them to church and to shrines. Sooner or later they will be in there own and choose life according to what they decide and we are not here to guide them all the way but since we planted in them simple and ordinary teaching about God they will be in the right path. The path can be thorny and bumpy sometimes but there is God to pick them up and love them unconditionally. ^_^

     Yeheyyy my youngest baby niece turns nine years old today! I asked her the other day what she likes to have for her birthday. She told me she likes a huge cake, spaghetti and fried chicken. She did not know that my brother surprised her with a lechon (roasted pig)! She could not believe it she was so happy I could tell just by looking at her photos. Nine years from today she was born. I remember the day I visited at the hospital and saw her inside the incubator. The nurse told us she might not live hearing those words made my heart sunk I was very sad. I approached her and my mind told me to talk to her and the words that I uttered was " you gonna make it you will survive" and that is when I saw a smile on that tiny face! I know then that she will survive and she did. She is now nine years old and a very bright girl. She is always an honor student and very witty. Her dream is to be a Principal in a school and she always re-enact as a principal when she and her playm...

Today, my little boy is officially a teenager! He will be 13 years old today! Time flies so quick I remember the moment he was born. My sister was in labor and me and our mother was there too. We were excited to see our little baby boy and hour later he was born. He may not be my biological son but GOD gave him to me too, through my heart. I talked to him this morning just in time they came home from dining out celebrating his birthday. He told me that the food was good and that he loves it very much. I am so glad he was happy on his birthday and before I came back here in the US I gave him a thousand pesos to spend for his birthday. And he told me he buy something together with his classmates and friends they eat at school.   He will be graduating this March and that time I am going back to the Philippines to be in this special event of his. The reasons why I have to visit Philippines is to see and have a quality time with the loves of my life! We had a very good time bonding to each other. They are all grown up they are not babies anymore. I told them they maybe bigger and taller than me but they will always be my baby forever! I cannot imagine one day they are going to have boyfriend and girlfriend...eekkkkkkk!! Made me freak out lol!! I think the boyfriend or girlfriend will pass a very tiny hole hahaha!! Joke! Rest assured I am the coolest Mama in the whole wide world (hope so, lol)!

For two years that I have not visited Philippines my nieces and nephew grew big and fast. I wonder where the time goes it's like yesterday that I carry them and hold them now they can do on their own. Life is so fast I want to spend a lot of quality time with them because someday they will have a life of there own and it is about time for us to let them go. That time would be painful but still they will remain as my babies forever!

I was surprised when I saw my nieces and nephew already grown up. For two years that I have not seen them the changes is phenomenal. We almost have the same height and they are teasing me telling me that few more years and I will be shorter. ^_^

Yes! Today is the first day my niece go to school for a summer class. She is the one who took nursing but did not pursue the course. Rather, she took another course which is Criminology. My hubby told me she had to follow her dream if that is her choice so be it. So I accepted that she won't be a nurse but soon be a cop like her Uncle my brother. I too believe that if you follow your dream you will be successful. Last night, I told her I would challenge her. I told her she should be in the Dean's List and she told me she won't promise but she would study hard. Another endeavor another challenge for her I wish her all the best I know she could make it!! Love you ate!

Last month was my niece 10th birthday. That time they also had some activities at school. My brother sent me this photo of them and I truly missed them. Kuya looks like Jollibee's manager lol! Kuya G and his younger sister AG The three loves of my life. That is ate MG she is very protective to her brother and sister.

Last February 20 my niece turn 10. Yes she is getting there lol! I have not seen them for 2 years and basing on the photos my brother showed me over FB she is getting big and so her brother and sister. I am so happy that she is already 10 years old. I am amazed of how beautiful the cake is. It's very colorful too. And by the way she has lechon or roasted pig lol! According to my brother the office mates of her mamay and papay are going there for lunch and in the afternoon all the kids on the block is going to celebrate with her too. Here are some of the photos. It is also our customed that when it is our birthday we are going to attend mass or if we can't we are going to a shrine and light a candle. That is what my nieces and nephew are doing here. Seeing the happy and smiling faces of my nieces and nephew as they are holding their gifts is infectious. It makes me feel happy when I see them happy.
