                          Last weekend, though I was overwhelmed by the beautiful colors around  I did not forget to take photos of the barns we passed by. The blue sky which is also a bit glooomy makes the scenery more beautiful.                                               All barns were taken at Petoskey, Michigan Cute barn with one window This looks like a barn or it may not.                                 Red barns and blue sky is a perfect combination. But in these photos I like the two gray Silos as well as the blue Silo, a new kind of Silo I think? Okey while I was writing this post hubby look at the photos so I asked him what kind of Silo is the blue one. He said it is a well tight Silo which is much better than the regular one on the left side (which he said... same us ours) And he said that it cost $10,000 way back years ago and maybe now it cost more than $30,000!! This Barn looks still in used. I see a small playground on the side and the ground is pretty neat. Usually barns here in Michigan are red but this one is white and has a brick wall. I like the form of the cupola too.                                           Linking to Barn Charm and Blue Monday

     Though this barn is abandoned and ready to fall down the owner still maintain the surrounding pretty neat!   These photo was taken in my hometown in the Philippines. Yesterday, hubby and I went to Grand Rapids to visit Fredirick Meijers Garden and Sculpture (again) to see the Spring Rose Show. Comparing to last year Fall Rose Show it does not have many flowers but there are many that I do like. We did not took the interstate highway instead we drove the back road and that made me happy like a bird. I saw barns in different sizes and news and old and with a blue sky backdrop my photos are beautiful! ^_^                                               Linking to BLUE MONDAY and BARN CHARM

I never thought in my wildest dream that I would shop for birds stuff. I always say to myself I would not buy anything for birds but then spring came and when I see birds hopping my empty and lonely bird hook and feeders I feel bad. So off I go yesterday to the store to do bird shopping galore. I bought Oriole feeder, 2 new bird feeders and for the very first time a bird bath. I bought different kind of seeds, oil sunflower, fried worms, peanut nuggets, nyler seeds. I put all my feeders yesterday and it does not take long few birds started to come by and I saw some birds flying by at the bird bath. I feel happy watching this tiny creatures. I cannot wait to see cardinals, Oriole, the yellow birds and hope more birds will come by because I have more seeds ^_^ I am over gaga looking for products Made in USA. I had posted several products made in USA in my blogs and this bird bath is one of them. If given a choice between Made in USA than to other, I would choose the Made in ...

                              If it is winter it's very hard to see blue sky every day. Last month we had a weekend road trip getaway, the air is chilly but the sky is blue and beautiful. I find many barns some are new some are old and here are two barns that need a lot of TLC!                                                       Linking to BLUE MONDAY and BARN CHARM

Hubby and I were driving around and this particular barn has a very beautiful story to tell. My hubby told me that his paternal grandmother and grandfather meet here often when they are trashing grain (wheat or oats). I think the love blooms here while both are helping their parents in the fields. I love stories like this because how many people meet in a place were both are working hard. Frankly speaking many young or old now meet each other and claim they fall in love at the bar or  disco house or party what ever kind of parties it is. Comparing the two scenarios I like meeting my man while he is working hard I am working hard than meeting a man under the influence of who know what hehe. Oh by the way, I asked hubby just now, "are they riding the buggy before" hubby just laughed and he said " I imagine because that was in the 1900's" oh my it is really a buggy they are riding. ^_^ I again asked hubby "do you think this is the same barn or it's been f...
