Summer here in Michigan is fun. Almost all the people are liking the warm weather people get out to enjoy the moment before fall then winter creep in. Some places they already see sign of spring! Here in Michigan we don't know when we can see the sign of spring because since Fall our snow never melt and it accumulated too high now that at the bottom of the snow it is a solid ice! Last Saturday we went to our friends house for a birthday party. When we went home it started to snow again amidst all the snow already piled up on the ground. While on the road I took pictures of the on coming traffic and buildings that has beautiful lights. Then I got this...I did not realize this until I uploaded all my photos in the computer that night. One thing that I think of when we have so much snow is my birds. I love backyard birding and saw several beautiful birds in the past years. These year seems like they are hibernating so well or they migrated so far I have not seen a lot yet. But I have seen some cardinals and is waiting for some birds to come to my new feeder. Yup when I found out we have plenty of snow this winter I bought a very good bird feeder my birds would love it.                                       Linking to Outdoor Wednesday and ABC Wednesday

We had a bad snow day last Saturday and it continued till Sunday but I am thankful we do not have snow storm or ice storm what so ever so I am okay with it.                                                  Linking to Outdoor Wednesday

                My hometown  (in the Philippines) has a Zip-line already. My nephew with my brother went on top  of the mountain to try the Zip-lining. My nephew with a white hat he seems look very excited and not scared.                                             Have you try Zip-lining? To those who heard the news last Friday. In the south part of the Philippines a very strong Typhoon lashed out at least two cities. One of my close friend died and many people are missing until now the casualties are rising.The huge trees that illegal loggers cut was the one who created a great damaged to the many houses.  These photos was taken by my cousin. My hometown was spared because of the city council who planned years ago to create a river, they call it diverse river. Thankfully, it saved the whole city to a flash flood. See the muddy water and looks like the current is not to be laughed off, that can kill hundreds of people. The bridge was not reached by the water and the people from the mountain can still pass. When people abuse nature the nature will get back on us, a hundred times. And many innocent people and children lives are gone. Very sad!                       ...

My brother sent this picture to me last week. I didn't knew that our city government  has reclaimed an area and made it like a huge land. I knew that this area is part of the Panguil Bay and I don't know if it is good or not. It's a long stretched of land and it would take tons of stones, rocks and soil to fill it but as I see it, it looks like it almost done. But I have this thought of, what if it will sink one day?? Anyway, my brother told me that these land will be sold soon and also when there will be buildings in this area the squatters area will be covered. Well, we can't cover what the reality. Poverty, squatter area is common sight in the Philippines why a city government wants to cover it?
