     Though this barn is abandoned and ready to fall down the owner still maintain the surrounding pretty neat!   These photo was taken in my hometown in the Philippines. Many of my photos these week is all about our visit to the Lavender Festival. We went there last Friday and good thing it was not too busy yet. Just when we get out from the car we smell the fresh aroma of lavender it smells heavenly. But soon hubby smells the horse manure too hahahaha.!      I was chatting my brother the other day and told me that one of my niece went to the office of my SIL crying and do not want to go back to school. My SIL asked her what happened and she told my  SIL that she got a low score in math test and her teacher got mad, terribly mad she is afraid to go back to school. This made my SIL's horn grow long and brought smoke in her ears. Since the office of my SIL is just across the school she and my niece went back to school. My SIL talked immediately to the teacher asking her why she is doing that to her pupils. She found out that the this teacher had already punished some pupils by slamming there head on the desk. It just made my SIL's fury worsen she lambasted the teacher like crazy!! I know how my SIL gets mad especially when my nieces and nephew are being bullied. She never hesitate to apprehend or talk to you anywhere or everywhere you want to. Because of her fury she told the teacher that if it will happened again she and the t

A drive by shooting I did not know that on the barn door there is a design, looks like a rooster. I find this barn pretty charming and good to see that the corn around is growing nicely. According to the story Frederick Meijers built this house and the surrounding as a birthday present to his wife. He made it sure it is a replica of his wife's childhood house. How sweet of her husband right?      I was happy yesterday my brother told me the three balikbayan boxes that I sent last March 31, 2012 through LBC express padala did arrive!! Finally it did after the many calls and tracking it arrived. My nieces and nephew cannot contain themselves as what my brother told me since there are three boxes they are confuse which one is to open first. My brother told me that nothing was lost or opened which is good but what I do not like is that it takes three months to arrived. What happened is that our LBC agent in Michigan did not deliver the boxes in Chicago last April. He picked my boxes on March 31 but the whole month of April it never reach Chicago. What I learned is that when the boxes reached Chicago on May for just a matter of days it reaches to California and off it goes to the Philippines by ship (of course!) Anyhow, the experienced is fine the boxes were not open which is good. But next time I might look for another balikbayan courier. ^_^
