Rainbow connection

Every time I see a rainbow featured by a blogger, I am always excited about it and I told them that since I came here in MI I haven't seen a rainbow!! Last Saturday as we drove heading home I saw a rainbow. It was not full and not so clear but at least it's a rainbow. And there is not only one but two, though the other rainbow is not that so clear. I was excited I thought the end of the rainbow is right smack at our house, you know how it is "at the end of the rainbow is where the pot of gold"!! ^_^

That's great that you finally got to see a rainbow there. I know the excitement you feel, it's such a wonder to view rainbows. Did you find the pot of gold? :)

Rainbows are a pretty addition to any sky, always a delight to see that colorful brush against the sky. Thanks for sharing with Sky Watch.

To answer your question, yes it was an outgoing tide at Port Douglas, the boat is speeding out the channel which made for a fun illusion viewed from that angle.

It is the angle of the sun to create this so I would assume it was midmorning or late afternoon. Remember your time and when a storm breaks again look for that feature, and then share the gold if you find it with me.Nice post and thank you for the lovely comment.Hope to see you again!

we both have been lucky seeing rainbows these recent times. I saw one yesterday, but it was too wide and not clear, so I didn't take a photo.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
