Pier 1 my favorite store

If somebody would ask me what is my favorite store without batting an eyelash I would answer it's PIER 1!! I'm about 15 minutes away from this awesome store. And every time I am in the area I'd dropped by and looked around and oftentimes come out from the store with something on hand lol!

My last visit was the longest I guess. Hubby had to go find a store that he could sit down and drink coffee and wait for my call hehe. While I was inside Pier 1 Imports I was overwhelmed by how beautiful their products are. Take note I always come in this store but I always get surprises. This time of year is so festive as I looked around I already found some good stuff for holiday gifts .  Before we go to the store I already told my husband that we are going to host a dinner party for our family this year. And it would be on the day of Christmas day. And  because of that my list for must have is started to get full. I need a new set of dishes, a table napkin, a new set of glassware. Then I need a new window panels and of course a new rug.  As I was looking at all the stuff I am so surprised they are not that too expensive. I think that's why Pier 1  is my favorite because it surprises me all the time, the price is reasonable. 

So after browsing around for my "must have" I then looked for what I am going to give to my beloved hubby. Thankfully, I found a very good one that I know he would love it. When we arrived home I showed my hubby what I have purchased (not his gift) and my "must have" and he says okey we gonna buy it wohoo!! Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
