NMEDA would help

I've been very busy today I went to the library for a computer course. Yes, our library do this things for us free! And when I saw it on our local newspaper I grabbed the opportunity to be part of this program, and why not right?

It's like when you are bound in your house 24/7. And with this Wintery weather it does makes everybody feel cabin fever you freak out for sure! And  this is what happened to my step-daughter right now. She had MS and she don't go anywhere may it be Winter or Summer. Every time we visit her we could feel that she is depressed and don't like anybody see her, to that point. It's kind of sad because before she got an auto accident she was fine, lively active woman. After the accident so many things happened to the point that she couldn't walk nor drive a car. And to live here in America every body should know how to drive a car or else you can't get to where you like to.

The other day my step-sons wife called my hubby to check the NMEDA site. So we did checked immediately and to my surprised it will help my step-daughter a lot!! NMEDA has a dealership who can help the disabled people drive again! How cool is that. Their website tells you to check if your area is close to any NMEDA dealership. By the way to make this straight NMEDA is a non--profit organization whose aim  and purpose is to educate, promote safe driving  and equipment for disabled people.  NMEDA has dealers  and Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers.

* The Quality Assurance Program (QAP) is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. It is based on the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality.

To top it all after visiting and reading the website. We came to a conclusion that this is what my step daughter needs for now.  She already suffered a lot of significant change in her lifestyle for few years now is the right time for her to be back and get her independence on the road!

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
