Spring has sprung at Pier 1

The most awaited Spring is here and people including me are excited to their Spring cleaning, purging some stuff that they don't want and most  of all shopping!!! Yesterday, the weather was good and hubby and I were outside the house doing some cleaning at the deck and the driveway. I asked him to bring out our deck table and chairs but to my disappointment the umbrella was ripped off and the chairs are badly damaged because of too much snow. I told hubby right away it's time for me to shop at  Pier 1 !!

Yup, you all hear it Pier 1  is my one to go shop to find for good and colorful stuff and that includes outdoor papasan chairs. Before, I first saw papasan chairs  I thought it is very uncomfortable to set down. So I just didn't mind it when I happened to see it at Pier 1. Then I happened to see it at my step daughters house and I did really asked her if it's comfortable and she told me that it is very comfortable and in fact she is going to buy more of it for her deck. Then I tried to set down on it and I am very amazed how comfortable it is I wanted to picked a book and read.    I find this photos at the Pier 1  website and aside from the papasan chairs there are plenty of stuff that just arrived and I immediately  in love with it. I took a good looked at there pillows and cushions my heart sank it's colorful and the huggable. Aside from being colorful and huggable I could use  these pillows and cushions even in Winter time!  In Spring and Summer it added the color outside while in Autumn and Winter it added the color inside the house which for me is the wow factor of this stuff. I could only imagine it with the papasan chair with me which I have to add that I could change the cushion of this in any colors as I want to add the magic inside and outside of my home. 

Today, I was excited to share what I've find at Pier 1 so I called my step-daughter she was excited too because  she is also preparing for beautiful stuff for her deck too. I told her that she can go to the website and check first what are the bargains then we can go tomorrow for another shopping and luckily she agreed so tomorrow we gonna go shopping!!  Thinking about going to shop this weekend made me smile all the time. Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
