Cherries and barn are red

Went to  Cherry picking the other day and I enjoyed it a lot! I got the chance to climb three trees and picked the ripest and the sweetest cherries and they are on top of the tree of course. My first time to come to this farm though hubby and I past this place once.
                                   This little barn is what you can see when you enter the parking lot

                         Inside this barn are old tractors and one old Ford I don't know the model

                                    If you picked tart cherries they could pit it for you but if it's the sweet cherries they don't pit because they said juice will come out.

                                          Ain't that sweet and juicy looking sweet cherries?

                                They make this little barn for the kids to play. How I wish hubby would make a little barn like this for me ^_^

The reds are quite stylish here, as in the ruby barn. The reds are delicious, in the cherries. I love an orchard, bushels of fruits or maybe even fruit pies, we usually do not leave a place like this hungry, samples and such...

I love cherries but there's no tree to pluck them, just buy them from supermarket. They are imported from California.

Cherry picking!? I would love that. I drool looking at those red cherries. I have never seen a cherry tree.

I remember a place that looked quite a bit like this that my g'ma used to go to pick strawberries when I was a kid. How cool is that! =)

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
