Red Barn

Another Red Barn in our area.

I like this short silo.  I wonder what they put inside.

What a huuuuge barn this is. Lovely photos. I must learn to blur mine more like the middle one. It's the in thing to do right now. You have already got it.

Maybe the little silo wants to turn into a grown-up silo some day :)

This barn is stunning in its beauty, the roof in excellent shape and sitting upon its classic shape. Nice!

Barns are simply wonderful structures and ruby ones are extra special. Well captured.

The last shot is my favorite as well. Love that little silo!
I do however appreciate the longer shot as well to see what kind of setting the barn is in.

What a beautifully painted barn. And that silo is so cute.

Great shot!
Great looking red barn. We call those short structures in my area "grain bins" and that is what they are for...to store grain that is harvested.

Red barns - they are my very favorite! Love the shot of the little silo. Glad Cheryl told us what it was for - I wondered too!

Beautiful barn--nothing quite like a big, red barn with the white farm house sitting beyond it. Well-kept and obviously appreciated--that's the best kind!:>)

Brilliant colors on that barn! I believe the "short silo" is called a corn crib, used to stare corn or other harvested grain. They are a striking pair!

yes, i'd have said either a grain bin or corn crib. LOVE this place!

I'm very curious about what State this barn is in.

I've never seen such a short silo. I don't know for sure about THAT silo, but here in the farmland of Wisconsin, they put silage in a silo. Silage is made of chopped corn, plant and all, which then ferments in the silo and is used as feed for the cows.

These pictures remind me of home...which was in Michigan for a few years. Found your blog on Blog Hops Everyday. I just started a home cooking blog. I'd love it if you stopped by sometime at http://leftoversplease.blogspot.com.
Beautiful barn and your photos, too.

What a wonderful barn. The small silo may be a pump house.
