I like the first shot of the chain fence. The downward loop of the chain is the counterpart to the arch of the openings. Did you take this the same day as the Alamo shot or did it rain the whole time you were there. :) Nice shots Kim!
Never visited San Antonio--always wanted to stroll along the River Walk in the evening. Glad you got to do that--camera in hand to share with the rest of us.
That second shot has so much color in it...plus a little rain. I have never been to Texas, but I do have a cousins there. I would think a river walk in the evening there would be wonderful. genie
The whole day I was out. Yup, as in literally out of our house. Because me and my friends were having a shopping Filipino food mode and lunch after. Thanks to Ms. L for driving us and preparing our lunch because we had a sumptuous lunch as well as a good laugh. Here are the photos that we took.
Well here comes Fall which is my favorite season of all time. I like the rain and the crisp breeze of air. The smell of caramel apples and the pressing of apples to make an apple cider. And what makes me happy is the Fall color. It is so awesome and beautiful!! I just loved it!
Hubby and I were driving around and this particular barn has a very beautiful story to tell. My hubby told me that his paternal grandmother and grandfather meet here often when they are trashing grain (wheat or oats). I think the love blooms here while both are helping their parents in the fields. I love stories like this because how many people meet in a place were both are working hard. Frankly speaking many young or old now meet each other and claim they fall in love at the bar or disco house or party what ever kind of parties it is. Comparing the two scenarios I like meeting my man while he is working hard I am working hard than meeting a man under the influence of who know what hehe. Oh by the way, I asked hubby just now, "are they riding the buggy before" hubby just laughed and he said " I imagine because that was in the 1900's" oh my it is really a buggy they are riding. ^_^ I again asked hubby "do you think this is the same barn or it's been f...
