Barn Charm

I like advertisement written on any barn. These barn is among of them. Looks like this barn is still doing it's purpose and looks like it is huge too.

Ah, it seems that you have entered the Hoosier State judging by the ad. It seems that the ruby red barns in Indiana are as cool looking as in Michigan!

Kim...So sorry to be so late with my commenting. This has been quite a week at school...lots of bad middle schoolers wearing me out each day. I am so jealous of you people that keep finding these wonderful barns with the advertising on them. I have yet to find one of them or a quilt barn. I keep looking and refuse to give up. This one is beautiful...in great shape. The doors are really the eye catchers. A great find. genie

Cool barn. Reminds me of the historic barn near us that has a Flying A sign on it, although it is relatively new to the barn (past 20 years), it has weathered to the point of looking as old as the 1800s barn itself. lol

Hubby and I were driving around and this particular barn has a very beautiful story to tell. My hubby told me that his paternal grandmother and grandfather meet here often when they are trashing grain (wheat or oats). I think the love blooms here while both are helping their parents in the fields. I love stories like this because how many people meet in a place were both are working hard. Frankly speaking many young or old now meet each other and claim they fall in love at the bar or  disco house or party what ever kind of parties it is. Shopping With Friends

                                   The whole day I was out. Yup, as in literally out of our house. Because me and my friends were having a shopping Filipino food mode and lunch after.
