Very original tones you've "found" in this photo. As others have said--it could be a postcard. The view of the horizon is just the right background for the barn.

This is the traditional roof line am use to seeing on old barns. It became a popular style for family homes for a short time in the eighties. Love the weathered wood and it appears to have a basement type foundation. Nice capture.

What a great old barn! So nice to see them when they're not left to just deteriorate, although I'm sure it's a great expense to maintain them.
