Cardinal

One thing that I think of when we have so much snow is my birds. I love backyard birding and saw several beautiful birds in the past years. These year seems like they are hibernating so well or they migrated so far I have not seen a lot yet. But I have seen some cardinals and is waiting for some birds to come to my new feeder. Yup when I found out we have plenty of snow this winter I bought a very good bird feeder my birds would love it.

I love that shot you took of one of your cardinals. My wife and I love our little backyard bird sanctuary so much, that we made a conscious decision to have our kitten be an indoor cat. Happy ABC Wednesday!

We have lots of them at our feeders here in north Mississippi. And lots of other birds, too. Good thing we bought several huge bags of black oil sunflower seeds and a dozen suet cakes. We have been below freezing for a few days, and forecast is the same for a couple of more days. Hope we can thaw out for the week-end.

That is one fantastic capture of a cardinal! We had a family of them a couple summers ago. Watching the babies grow up was magical.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
