Some places they already see sign of spring! Here in Michigan we don't know when we can see the sign of spring because since Fall our snow never melt and it accumulated too high now that at the bottom of the snow it is a solid ice! Imagine this...

Hello Kim,
We get very excited where I live in Liverpool UK when it snows.
We are expecting some soon according to the weather reports.
All the children scramble to the local parks and woodland to slide up and down some steep slopes on their sledges.

Hi Trubes,

For kids it is fun like me who is old I can't bear to be outside for hours ^_^ Now we are looking forward to spring and hope the snow/ice melts so fast so I could prepare my garden. The cycle never ends ^_^

Poor girl! You still have plenty of snow around your house. On Saturday I took photos of the almond bloom here in Germany. I assume you are still some weeks away from spring time. Stick it out! ;-)

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
