Face of the week#17~Father

For the face of the week I am featuring my father. Yesterday, we celebrate Father's day and I remember my father too well as I remember him and my mom every day of my life. My Dad passed away 20 years ago and he was 50 years old. I remember him as a loving father to us. He always had this smile and every time he comes home from his work he always brings goodies for us. He teach us to respect and be a good person. Every Saturday we go to see a movie and on  Sunday we go to church and after that we go eat to our favorite restaurant. As a kid that is already a blast, right? 
I wish my Dad is still here. I wish he see his grandson and granddaughters. And I so wish that he meet my husband and knew him because for sure he will be happy for me. To my Papa I love you so much and for the rest of my life I won't never forget what you thought me, your principle in life is etched right here in my heart. Happy Father's day Papa!!

What a friendly face your Dad has. Wow, 50 is so young to leave this world. So sorry for your loss, as I understand you still missing him after all this time.

I think he was a wonderful choice for 'Face of the Week' this week and I thank you *so* much for sharing him with us. Hugs.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
