Getting big

The one on your right is my nephew and he is clowning around trying to looked big in this picture. But actually he is getting big. He is going to be 12 this year and I couldn't believe next year I will have a teen-ager!!!
I am excited at the same time try to hold on the time and moment that he is my baby boy. Last year I have not visited my native country Philippines and this year I am not so sure if I can visit them. But basing on the pictures that my brother shared on me in Facebook they grew like weeds lol. 
When I called them I see to it that I talked to my nieces and nephew and I missed them a lot!! I know that when I see them I would not believe that they grow tall and fast. They grow without their parents with them. I was the one who took care of them when their parents didn't care for them. That's why they call me "mama" because I am more closer to them than their parents. I don't have any regrets that they came to my life I consider them as my own and I so love them very much.

kids grow big quickly. I was on holiday for 2 months, I saw my student yesterday, and he had grown.

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
