ABC Wednesday

One place that I like to visit again is Detroit Institute of Arts. Hubby and I went there last month and for me one day is not enough. The building is huge and there are so many things to see and I am not the kind of person just to look at paintings or jars but I have to read what's being said in the sign or label. This photo is in the second floor of the building the ENTRANCE to the painting gallery. Geez, I was so excited and thought of wishing that they allow taking photos (no flash) and they allow, I was so happy!


 I like playing EYE SPY but hubby is on a hurry what the heck? Next time I would leave him at home! LOL!!


         I have seen this in the European gallery. These are owned by the past Czars, Prince, Princess etc. I       know this is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!!

Great post for E-day! I am ashamed to admit that i have never been to the DIA. You and everyone else who has been there tells me how much I am missing.

Great post. We LOVED playing I Spy with our kids. When in London the Victoria and Albert Museum had a backpack of maps and games for the kids to play and search for while in taking in the incredible art.

My daughter still likes Eye Spy on road trips. I've only been to Detroit once and I went by the DIA, but alas, not in it.

I've never been to the DIA, but certainly think it's a place everyone should visit in they are in that town. The European Exhibit is simply Exquisite! And who wouldn't love to spend time in an Eye-Spy room!

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
