He turn 13 today

Today, my little boy is officially a teenager! He will be 13 years old today! Time flies so quick I remember the moment he was born. My sister was in labor and me and our mother was there too. We were excited to see our little baby boy and hour later he was born. He may not be my biological son but GOD gave him to me too, through my heart.
I talked to him this morning just in time they came home from dining out celebrating his birthday. He told me that the food was good and that he loves it very much. I am so glad he was happy on his birthday and before I came back here in the US I gave him a thousand pesos to spend for his birthday. And he told me he buy something together with his classmates and friends they eat at school.  He will be graduating this March and that time I am going back to the Philippines to be in this special event of his. To my Kuya Gino Paulo, Mama Kim loves you much!! God bless!! And Happy Birthday!!

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
