Angel Grace turn 9

     Yeheyyy my youngest baby niece turns nine years old today! I asked her the other day what she likes to have for her birthday. She told me she likes a huge cake, spaghetti and fried chicken. She did not know that my brother surprised her with a lechon (roasted pig)! She could not believe it she was so happy I could tell just by looking at her photos. Nine years from today she was born. I remember the day I visited at the hospital and saw her inside the incubator. The nurse told us she might not live hearing those words made my heart sunk I was very sad. I approached her and my mind told me to talk to her and the words that I uttered was " you gonna make it you will survive" and that is when I saw a smile on that tiny face! I know then that she will survive and she did. She is now nine years old and a very bright girl. She is always an honor student and very witty. Her dream is to be a Principal in a school and she always re-enact as a principal when she and her playmates play together. She will definitely get her dreams and I am praying for all my nieces and nephew to be a good citizen and a child of God! Happy Birthday AG!

Well, God Bless and Happy Birthday to your niece; she's adorable! Very nice post, and very touching about your niece being born premature and smiling when you uttered encouragement to her to survive. She may very well be the principal some day. Our daughter is just about exactly the same age, her 9th birthday is coming up on Aug 22. All the best to you and yours!

Couple's Corner: Jealousy

So it's another couple's corner meme once again and this time it is all about jealousy. I am thinking of the 8 years that I have known my hubby (2 years of chatting, 1 year engaged, 5 years of marriage) wala namang grabeng nangyari sa amin in terms of jealousy but ONCE and will tell the story later so hang on hehe. I am the kind of person who trust a person without any doubt, even with friends what you see is what you get but if you broke that trust I would never care nor look at you as in talagang wala na. But in marriage pala we can't just say "that's it" or "this is it", we have to listen to one another and trust again and  again and again. I look as jealousy or selos as like a flame  that keeps the fire from BURNING HOT!! bwehehehe!! -wink-wink- Hubby is not a jealous type nor I (well not much). It's yellow

Six more weeks and it will be Spring wohooo!! By that time I am kind of busy scratching (like a chicken) trying to find sprouting plants specially tulips and some other early plants and flowers on the ground. This year I am excited to see my dahlias, peonies and hollyhocks blossom once again. Last year I took a shot of my first ever Dahlia and never expected to see a humongous one. The saying "expect the unexpected" is what I  remember when I saw my first Dahlia. This picture is the bud, ain't that huge already. The other day when it starts to warm up (25F that's our warm or heat wave here in MI lol) the snows on top of the roof started to melt, so it formed  long icicles. I so then thought of taking a picture for macro shot. When I saw the result in my camera the light from the window came out yellow, a great entry for MELLOW YELLOW MONDAY !! ^_^
