     I love to read. The first month of the year, I told myself at least read one book per month. I did it the first few months but after that, I have not read any book as of this writing. I remember when I was in grade school I love to read the book my classmate use to bring at school. The book of fairy tales is what my classmate use to bring at school and I would not go out from the classroom on recess time because I had to read the book first and finish it right away.      Now here in the US it is different I can go to the library and borrow any kind of book I want. On the other hand, go to thrift store buy a book for just a penny or a dollar. Every where I have an access with books but I do not give time for myself to give reading a chance again but here is what I have discovered just recently.                          Last Sunday was too hot but hubby and I went to Grand Rapids to relax ^_^ Took this photo looking from inside the conservatory. Yesterday, hubby and I went to Grand Rapids to visit Fredirick Meijers Garden and Sculpture (again) to see the Spring Rose Show. Comparing to last year Fall Rose Show it does not have many flowers but there are many that I do like. We did not took the interstate highway instead we drove the back road and that made me happy like a bird.      I was with friends today we had fun shopping and after shopping we had lunch. It is so nice to be out sometime with friends worth talking and spending time. While eating lunch we talk about cars it is an exciting topic since we have different liking of cars. One friend says she likes big cars like van and should have a nice back design. Another like anything as long as she feels comfortable driving in it while I do like cars that are good in gas. We laugh to our selection of cars because it really varies from colors and to sizes. However, buying new cars now is hard to comprehend it is very expensive. I learn that some have to pay for a new car for six or seven years very long to pay for a car by the time, you are done with the car your mileage is more than two hundred thousand miles. I saw this sign inside terminal 3 a domestic airport in Manila, Philippines. I did read this sign twice to make sure I read it right, FREE! Today, my little boy is officially a teenager! He will be 13 years old today! Time flies so quick I remember the moment he was born. My sister was in labor and me and our mother was there too. We were excited to see our little baby boy and hour later he was born. He may not be my biological son but GOD gave him to me too, through my heart. I talked to him this morning just in time they came home from dining out celebrating his birthday. He told me that the food was good and that he loves it very much. I am so glad he was happy on his birthday and before I came back here in the US I gave him a thousand pesos to spend for his birthday. And he told me he buy something together with his classmates and friends they eat at school.   He will be graduating this March and that time I am going back to the Philippines to be in this special event of his. I just came from a month long vacation in the Philippines and I had a blast. Bonding with my nieces and nephew and siblings is fun. Meeting old friends from school is also fun I enjoy every moment of it. What was my problem is that I get sick so easily. Thankfully, I have no cough but cold, I am swelling, and bloating me hardly could not fit my shoes. I wonder why it does happen to me all the time my sister in law has a theory it might be a water retention problem. I do not know about it but every time I visit my native country, I always have that problem. Anyhow, I started drinking green tea when I was there. However, it is too hot there and I only wanted to drink pop and water my sister in law, insisted green tea is the best and I did. Now I am drinking green tea as often as possible. I know it has antioxidants and anything that helps the body I would take it because I believe health is wealth.

The reasons why I have to visit Philippines is to see and have a quality time with the loves of my life! We had a very good time bonding to each other. They are all grown up they are not babies anymore. I told them they maybe bigger and taller than me but they will always be my baby forever! I cannot imagine one day they are going to have boyfriend and girlfriend...eekkkkkkk!! Made me freak out lol!! I think the boyfriend or girlfriend will pass a very tiny hole hahaha!! Joke! Rest assured I am the coolest Mama in the whole wide world (hope so, lol)!
